Led by Dr. Steve and his dedicated Nurse Chris, our team combines decades of experience with a heartfelt commitment to animal wellness.
Steven Teisch, DVM – Founder & Lead Veterinarian
A 1991 graduate of Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Steve began his career in southern Vermont, where he owned and operated the Deerfield Valley Veterinary Hospital near Mt. Snow. After years of enduring harsh winters, he relocated to South Florida to be closer to family. In 2008, he started offering house calls, which eventually evolved into a full-time practice. His mission has always been to provide the most comprehensive in-home veterinary experience available.
In 2022, after a brief period under corporate ownership that didn’t align with his vision, Dr. Steve reinstated All About Town as a private practice to ensure the quality of care and service that clients and their pets deserve.
Dr. Steve resides in Lake Worth Beach with his partner Julie, their two French Bulldogs, Fiona and Little D, and Mr. Kitty. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys boating, biking, hiking, playing the drums, and woodworking. All the cabinetry and counter tops in the office are the works of Dr. Steve.
Nurse Chris – Veterinary Technician
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I spent 25 wonderful years working at a small animal hospital. I began my career as a veterinary assistant and, over time, grew into the roles of head veterinary technician and practice manager.
In early 2015, a unique opportunity led my husband, our beloved fur babies, and me to sunny South Florida. We embraced the change and made Lake Worth Beach our new home, drawn in by the palm trees, the sea breeze, and the vibrant community.
For the past decade, I’ve been traveling around town with Dr. Steve, visiting clients and meeting their pets in the comfort of their homes. It’s been a joy getting to know the diverse neighborhoods of South Florida and connecting with pet owners in such a personal setting.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me tackling home renovation projects, getting my hands dirty in the yard, attending local festivals, or exploring everything this sunny paradise has to offer.
Nicole - Practice Manager
Nicole – I am a Born and Raised Floridian. I started my career out as a receptionist for a few different animal hospitals here in the Palm beach area. I bring 10+ years of experience working my way up from Receptionist to Office manager. Along the way I spent 3 years learning about Positive Reinforcement Dog Training.
My love for animals started at a young age when I would always try to bring home dogs and cats from local shelters.
When I’m not working you can catch me spending time with my son Carson, my French Bulldog Bruno and our cat Henry. We love going the beach, parks and watching movies.

Kelly Evans - Client Success Rep
I’m proud to be part of this dedicated team where every day I get to do what I love-help animals and support the people who care for them. I currently work front desk and customer service where I handle just about everything from scheduling and client communication to assisting behind the scenes. I’m deeply invested in making both our human and furry clients feel welcome and cared for.
Working with animals has always been part of who I am. I was the kid who brought home strays and hid them in my room. My family always knew I’d end up in the pet world. My grandfather raised greyhounds and my father led the K9 division for the Miami Police department, so I grew up surrounded by dogs. Especially German Shepherds (German Shedders). That early experience sparked a lifelong compassion for animals of all kinds. Birds, bunnies, cats, dogs, squirrels and even iguana’s that need help crossing the street.
Before this role, I owned a pet supply store and served as General Manager of a dog training facility. I also worked in a large corporate run veterinary practice as a receptionist, where I gained experience navigating high volume environments with professionalism and empathy. I hold two certified Pet Nutrition credentials. One from Colorado State University, and the other from Holly & Hugo-an online accredited school for animal behavior and pet nutrition. I love helping pet owners find the right diet and nutrition solutions for their companions’ needs.
At home, I have a 16 year old rescue dog named Ruka and a 7 year old rescue cat named Milo. They keep me grounded, grateful, and always learning. To me, animals are more than companions, they are family. It’s an honor to care for them every day.
